There is little remaining of Cambodia's New Khmer Architecture/modernist/1960s buildings which sprung up during modernisation following independence from France. Among the best examples are Phnom Penh University and the Olympic Stadium.

As is usual on my travels, I have been on the lookout for buildings of interest during my visits to Cambodia over the years and I present here some examples which I have come across during my time there, some in good condition but many looking neglected and unappreciated. You may need to use your imagination to envisage them in their glory rather than their current state.
