I spent a lot of time looking in books at Oscar Niemeyer's wonderful buildings. Brasília seemed like the embodiment of a modernist city. A far away, futuristic world that I could only dream of visiting. Many years later, I was sent to São Paulo to work for a short time and I took the opportunity to fulfil that dream. At times it was hard to believe I was actually there. I wish I had been there longer and seen more but time was limited. The photos I took while I was there can be accessed via the picture menu below.
